Getting stedman along with geno may be too much to ask for.
We will be lucky if the chiefs draft geno. |
Going back and watching that Texas tech game, geno still played okay. TT just had an excellent defensive gameplan. Early on they took away the screens and then when WV got so far behind they started throwing deep balls and tech planned for those as well. You will notice geno didn't have open receivers very often. Nice job by tech.

I'm not sold on Geno. Check this video. He had some great throws at 6:10 and 7:37. But he could have had at least 4 ints in this game. The thing that bothers me is his ability to go through a progression. Watch his head. His head almost never moves to the other side of the field. We need a QB that can manipulate a defense with his eyes. Geno looks like he has a high low read on one side of the field. This won't work in the NFL. If someone has some video that shows he can go through a progression or manipulate a defense with his eyes, I would like to see it.

Sweet. Kcbubb is back. He's no Blackbob, but he'll do I suppose.

That throw at 2:45 wasn't a great throw?
|
How about 3:29?

I can't believe it took me this long.
Geno Smith's initials are GS. That's the same as mine. This shit is destiny, I'm telling you. |
I couldn't find one play on that entire video where he moved his head before scrambling.
|
He throws to his first receiver most of the time.

**** you bubb

I already had this conversation about Geno's reads and how he looks off defenders either with kcbubb or Blackbob. I can't remember which one, but it went nowhere the first time. I really have no desire to have it again.

i think black bob has 'game tape' for the people who have never bothered to watch smith play... |
I'm curious as to how many "reads" some of you think a QB has once the ball is snapped?

That pump and go was pretty friggin sweet too. His deep ball touch is incredible. |
