Seen plenty of 4k monitors, but none that are 144Hz. Seen plenty of 144Hz monitors, but they're all 1080p.

1st iteration
Lack of library
Games are overpriced
VR set is overpriced

Wait til the 2nd gen comes out and see if it's worth buying then.

If you've got money burning a hole in your pocket, go for it.

It's literally going to cost you $1000 to be able to buy the thing and play a couple games.

I am so not excited about VR,

Sure, its got some novelty, but have you seen the shit games?

Yeah, VR is awesome, but it's still too new to drop a grand on.

Soooo my Steam Machine turned out to be a pile of shit and got the 5 yellow lights like every other one. So now I want to build a similar form factor machine. I have the OS on the SSD, and one unit of 4 GB Ram for a laptop. What's a good setup, can a machine be built using a laptop MOBO like the steam machine?

Laptop mobo = laptop processor = POS

Just use Micro ATX, it can be done
