If you're done, then be done?

It's still a great site with some awesome posters.

Why does Haley deserve a 2 year extension? You are ****ing reeruned.

"I'm not convinced Haley is a long-term answer. But we should extend him."

I'm not convinced he's a long-term answer, but again, he has done enough to prove he has the upside to. But you can't ignore the fact that he has been SEVERELY crippled by his front office. I believe in people taking accountability for their mistakes. Firing the head coach when the heart of the problem is the front office's brutally wrong decisions at QB and NT is just throwing a guy under the bus.

But our front office isn't going to do that.

He needs to go. He's going to go. And it will be no loss at all.

Haley is the one who continually stands behind Palko. Just throwing that out there for you to think about.

We all understand that Haley lost some major talent very early in the year.

What MOST of us understand is that a good coach can still manage to build some promise for the future even if we aren't winning.

A coach is expected to put the team in the best position to win. Starting Palko, hell... playing Palko at all, is not putting the team in the best position to win.

Haley will be gone after the season is over.
I'm almost certain of that.

But, it's rare that you get a coach to throw a player under the bus, even when that player deserves ot be thrown there.

Titty Meat 12-11-2011 03:34 PM

The Chiefs were getting blown out at the end of last year and this year with their best players so.....

Who said anything about throwing Palko under the bus? You don't have to throw someone under the bus to go in a different direction.

Titty Meat 12-11-2011 03:36 PM

I don't think Haley should be fired cuz we're only 1-1 in the quarter.
