Yeah anything more than a 4th was too much. Even a swap is too much. Especially if a conditional 3rd or 2nd is on it for 2014.

We should all take a poll on what backup currently in the league will replace Alex Smith in 2-4 years. Winner can shoot me.

A 3rd round pick that was COMPLETELY EXPENDABLE two days ago when people wanted to trade it for Alex Smith.

Now that we've reportedly trade a HIGH SECOND for him, getting back a pick that was expendable 48 hours ago is supposed to feel like icing on the cake.
