We would have won with penalties.

At first I laughed, then I realized you are on to something here.

This is why college football is so awesome. Incredible game with great drama.

Eh, great finish but it's kinda lame seeing which team from the Deep South will win every year.

Holy tuck. Well a shitty injury plagued OU team kicked the shit out of the second place team and that tells you the conference deserves two already LMAO. I think ill just wait until the games are played before lobbying for who should be in the final four. Im just a fan of objectivity for some reason.

The SEC is playing catch up to the rest of the country with the high powered spread offenses. As they shift focus to scoring as fast and often as possible they will lose the defensive edge they have so often held. A&M really rattled some things last season and Missouri followed this season.

Nothing objective about deleting my sentence where I say the SEC doesn't automatically deserve two spots.

I don't think that the SEC automatically deserves two spots. But there will be years were it will be appropriate.

I just hope my Gators can get their shit turned around and quick.

Define "high powered spread," because I have a pretty distinct memory of Urban Meyer having some success at a school in Gainesville.

Yep. Hell the title game had over 100 points. That was the type of game the SEC fans used to mock the Big 12 for.

Whatever the case, I agree with you when you say to let the games be played before lobbying for spots.
