Skip Bayless has an historical hatred of anything Cardinals. I bet he went to college with NZoner and Comochief and got teased unmercifully by Cardinal fans. 20-30 years later they still have a grudge.

Actually he grew up a Cardinal fan. I don't think he like TLR, so anytime the Cardinals have success he has to taint it somehow.

This is like saying some of the Td's Brady threw in that record setting year happened when the Pats were up by 3 td's or the team they were playing sucked.

I mean come on.

All I know is that every article that I read by the guy has a Anti-Cardinal slant. That fact that he grew up a Cardinal fan just shows how much the sports writers can hold a grudge for some assumed slight or whatever reason not following unbiased journalism guidelines,

I think Frazod is sure of the fact that, if he were manager, the Cards would have won 125 games this year.

Dude, people are the same way with the Chiefs around here. Quit hating.

The Rangers have killed Jackson in the past. But its because he lets that fastball get up in the zone. If he can keep that fastball down we have a chance to get to their depleted bullpen...... the series is over. It will never leave Texas. No ****ing way Carp doesn't tale the mound and not bring home our 11th World Championship..

Was last night Game 3 or 4? Your sig is confusing me BRC.

BRC the thing I don't think your seeing in my situation is that these dumbasses that were "teasing me" were being constantly critical of my home team the Royals even though at that time they had recently been in a WS and had several great play-off runs against the Yankees and all when there was NO expanded play-offs.

Granted,KC hadn't won it all but to constantly criticize a good team showed the arrogance that "some" Cards fans have.Like I've said though I still go to college homecomings and the topic still comes up and I just :) because no matter how much hardware and bling the cards can boast on they can't boast on the one that matters to me the most.

Seriously, even though I can't stand the Cards,I wish you and Tim good luck.

Start westbrook. Jackson is going to get bombed. Hes a horrible matchup in this park against this team.

Holy shit. Rangers batters have a .328 average against him.

Vs Westbrook, they have a .291 average.

LMAO

Other than feasting on LaRussa's cock, I'm really not sure what you're trying to accomplish here, other than mitigating your Cubs butthurt in a pathetic attempt to hitch your tiny little wagon to the Cardinals' success.

*yawn*

It will take a Weaver like anomaly for one of them that is for sure.

Hootie 10-23-2011 10:11 AM

why was Skip Bayless so wrong?

Pujols had an AMAZING night...but under what pressure?

It's not even as impressive as Adrian Beltre earlier in the postseason when he had 3 bombs and the Rangers won 3-2...

it's certainly not Reggie Jackson-esque.

It was another Albert Pujols story to tell, no doubt...and fun for his fans...but really, he was hitting those 2nd and 3rd bombs in a game the Rangers just wanted to get over with.

It was like Derrick Blaylock running for those 4 TD's in the 2nd half years back...it was fun to watch, but it didn't really matter.
