So tell me, do the Rangers have any weaknesses? LMAO

they have a great lineup that is being hindered by Hamilton's injury...they should either bench him or move him down the lineup

and there starting pitching is mediocre

and again, you don't get baseball

look at the Cards this year...mediocre...got hot at the right time

you really think the Cards are better than the Phillies? Once the postseason starts all bets are off...the 2007 or 2008 Cubs (can't remember the year) was the best team in the NL that year...but ran into ManRam on a mission. Shit happens.

Granted,KC hadn't won it all but to constantly criticize a good team showed the arrogance that "some" Cards fans have.Like I've said though I still go to college homecomings and the topic still comes up and I just :) because no matter how much hardware and bling the cards can boast on they can't boast on the one that matters to me the most.

Seriously, even though I can't stand the Cards,I wish you and Tim good luck.

Ain't nothing worng with a riviraly and nothing wrong with smacking the rival at every oppertunity. One of the fun parts of sports is breaking balls.:thumb:

and I don't have anything against St. Louis...not anymore

I cheer for middle/small markets to succeed

The Cardinals were 11th in MLB payroll while the Rangers were 13th.

Not a big difference there...

Though, what the new ownership group has done in such a short time is impressive.

And BRC, Albert hasn't hit 3 HRs in Game 4(yet).

point?

I consider the Rangers and Cardinals both middle market teams...

Was happy to see a final four of Texas, Detroit, St. Louis and Milwaukee.

Still hate the fact baseball has 30 teams and only 12 compete.

no interest in the Cubs anymore now that they are going to turn into the Yankees in terms of spending...hate big market baseball

Rams Fan 10-23-2011 10:24 AM

Hmm.

Spags took the Rams to the game last night.

And we didn't mortgage the future to make this run like Milwaukee did.

On paper we have a chance in 2013-14 to have 5 starters that have potential to throw a no hitter.

But how can that be? After all, Hendry is the best GM in baseball and they've got the NL Central locked up through 2011, at least! Right? I mean, that's what you said, and God knows the magnificent Pootie is never wrong.....

Quick, find that idiot Brianfo and tell us again how the Cardinals are doomed.

Hootie 10-23-2011 10:34 AM

what does Pootie even mean? You sound like an idiot every time you say that...there is a reason that never stuck...it's ****ing stupid. Think of something more clever, or try to be original for once...I know it's tough considering you have no personality and are just an angry, depressed individual but please...one time...something original.

Yeah, I'm pissed. It's been a terrible week for me..... ROFL

So, the winner of this series goes on to play the Cubs for the True World Championship, right?

Same issue with both. If they keep the ball down they can survive 5-6 innings. They elevate we will get killed. Jackson has a better oppertunity to give us 5-6 innings of 3-4 runs allowed than westbrook.

But, if Jackson gets rocked early you have to bring in Westbrook and see if he can keep the ball down not because he should be any better. We just have no other choice because of missing waino. If neither can keep the ball down it will be Texas's chance to score 15 runs. We are screwed and just have to move on to game 5 and a Carp induced win,
