WIsh I had more info on Zach Miller, but Miller had dinner with Seattle officials. The Raiders will have to show him the money.

In SF, the 49ers drafted LB Aldon Smith, who know must be ready to replace Manny Lawson at LB.

Probably poor drafting in the last 2-4 years.

My guess on the Seahawks dinner with Zach Miller is that they didn't go over the cap.

They probably just have to try and deflect losing their starting QB Carson Palmer, and starting WR Ochocinco...that and always being full of fail.

The stunning news tonight is SF LB Manny Lawson going to Cincinnati on a one-year, $3 mil. deal. Lawson could be Cincy strong linebacker

wonder why the Chiefs weren't interested? I would think we could have at least matched that petty deal. Guess it wasn't a good fit.

I don't know but I was really excited about him hitting FA. He was my pipe dream of the year.

FYP

If the Rams do sign him, that would be the change of pace back they need. Hopefully his knees are good.

On A. Franklin, his visit to SF was only a visit, but it gives them a chance to talk him into re-signing.

Yeah, without my AFCW bias, I would probably rather sign with the Raiders. At least Ol' Al WANTS to win. He's just to old to put it together. The Carson Palmer situation is the most stubborn and obvious refusal to do what's right for the team I have ever seen by a sports owner.
