Haley will get another HC opportunity and will have a better end record than RAC as HC.

your not seeing what he's trying to say. he's not sticking up for Haley in any way shape or form at least from my view point. It looks like he's saying Romeo is that ****ing bad of a coach!

This conversation started because people are trying to claim that the effort in 2012 was the same as 2011.

And it's laughable that anyone would believe that to be true. Regardless of your opinion of Haley, good or bad, Romeo was significantly worse. By a mile. This was maybe the worst coached team in the history of Chiefs' football and that's not even an exaggeration.

Haley is the girl you take home at last call.

Romeo is the fat beast cockblocking every douche trying to get laid.

That's oversimplifying it. But thanks for playing.

Haley was probably not a good coach. But he had some merits, however small.

Romeo is, historically, a catastrophically embarrassing coach.

Only 11 head coaches in NFL history have a worse winning percentage.

Out of 159.

They are both worthless cock chuggers.

You don't know ****ing dick about football.

Players, especially an entire offense, don't just quit.

You're dumber than Daboll.

Players do quit.. hell I watched the Buccaneers quit at the end of the 2011 season.

It's true. Sorry if that gives you a case of redass.

Come on.

The Chiefs players didn't quit this season. They had five Pro Bowlers and had many rookies that played to the best of their abilities (however limited).

If a player were to truly "quit", his ass wouldn't last one down because he'd be injured and out.

It's more likely that the coaching staff has run out of ideas, run out of ways to motivate players and so on.

But to suggest that starting NFL players "quit" because the team has a losing record or bad season is ludicrous.

I'm sure that most offensive coordinators can excel with Matt Cassel as your QB and Jackie Battle starting in place of Jamaal Charles.

Dane come on man you know the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest! Its bullshit. Youre saying some of these players didnt quit even knowing they had NO shot to win let alone put up 7 points? Come on.

NJChiefsFan 01-06-2013 05:01 PM

I'm not sure that players quit on a season. I do however believe that once you get up on a team having a season like KC, their will to fight back at an NFL level drops. Add to that a bunch of idiots for coaches and especially a HC that lets the players just do what they want. It's a recipe for terrible second half showings.

I would agree with that. Though I'm more neutral on whether he was a good or bad coach.

Again, "quit" implies that they don't care. I don't think that's the case at all. They played soft, they made the stupid mistakes that come from an undisciplined team, they played uninspired and unconfident football that comes from a coach who has no emotion.
