If Ned had balls he’d go: Volquez - Ace - Young - Cueto - Volquez - Ace - Young/bullpen medley.

Also demote Madson to 4th reliever and go Hoch Herrera Davis.

Who here doesn't think those two options give us a better chance to win?

Absolutely not, because you can't let Cueto pitch in New York. He has an incredibly fragile psyche and he must be protected. The fans in New York would cause him to melt down in the first inning. At least in KC the fans will be cheering for him (at the start of the game anyway).

I think the NY crowd would get to Cueto.

I also like being able to bring Herrera in during the 6th as a guy to put out a fire with the K and he can give you more than 1 inning if needed.

If he's an MLB professional "ace" pitcher whose pysche is so fragile he can't pitch on the road, then we shouldn't pitch him at all. Much less 2 games. Who the hell knows what else is going to damage his psyche?

He is what he is so you put him in the best situation to succeed. Not pitching him isn't going to happen because of upside potential but i bet he is on a hell of a short leash.
