KC_Connection 06-16-2013 04:26 PM

Buck 06-16-2013 04:27 PM

Welp.

TribalElder 06-16-2013 04:27 PM

I think reality is setting in and failure is at hand

mlyonsd 06-16-2013 04:27 PM

Crash and burn.

LoneWolf 06-16-2013 04:28 PM

If Rose sinks this it's over.

'Hamas' Jenkins 06-16-2013 04:28 PM

Piss away another Open, Phil, you idiot.

TribalElder 06-16-2013 04:29 PM

Justin rose warms up on the range to the song it's raining men on his iPhone

TribalElder 06-16-2013 04:30 PM

Chalk up another bogasm for Phillip. He does not have that putt in the bag today

stonedstooge 06-16-2013 04:31 PM

A little english on that ball

Buck 06-16-2013 04:31 PM

'Hamas' Jenkins 06-16-2013 04:32 PM

It's. About. ****ing. Time.

Buck 06-16-2013 04:33 PM

How do you address the ball with uncertainty like that all hole long, then you get on the green and just knock it in easy?

He should take that confidence to the next tee box.

Buck 06-16-2013 04:37 PM

Go for it Phil.

mlyonsd 06-16-2013 04:37 PM

Is this the major where they play another complete round on Monday if there is a tie after 72?

Yes.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 06-16-2013 04:40 PM

Jason Day. Wow.

kstater 06-16-2013 04:41 PM

That putt gave Day a chance.

kstater 06-16-2013 04:41 PM

Terrible speed from Rose.

stonedstooge 06-16-2013 04:42 PM

Mickelson with the opening and fails

kstater 06-16-2013 04:42 PM

Phil staring at a 3 putt.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 06-16-2013 04:42 PM

Nice wedge, tits.

Buck 06-16-2013 04:42 PM

Christ.

stonedstooge 06-16-2013 04:43 PM

More golf tomorrow would be cool

Buck 06-16-2013 04:43 PM

Rose gives one back, but Phil and Mahan are probably going to bogey too.

kstater 06-16-2013 04:47 PM

That's a hell of a shot from Rose

TribalElder 06-16-2013 04:47 PM

Oh no shit chip?

kstater 06-16-2013 04:47 PM

Oh god, hackers everywhere are gonna start tearing greens up across the country.

Buck 06-16-2013 04:47 PM

And Rose might get that stroke back here.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 06-16-2013 04:48 PM

Oh Phil.

TribalElder 06-16-2013 04:48 PM

That was ****ing fail

What an idiot

kstater 06-16-2013 04:48 PM

LMAO

Old Dog 06-16-2013 04:48 PM

Good Lord, Phil.....that was more screwed up than a football bat

Buck 06-16-2013 04:49 PM

lol

TribalElder 06-16-2013 04:49 PM

He could have got it closer than that putting with one of those ****ing wicker baskets

Buck 06-16-2013 04:51 PM

God Damn he swung hard at that.

TribalElder 06-16-2013 04:51 PM

He looked at the leader board. Commence the collapse

kstater 06-16-2013 04:52 PM

Goodbye Hunter Mahan

Buck 06-16-2013 04:52 PM

Wah wah.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 06-16-2013 04:53 PM

What a scary putt for Day.

'Hamas' Jenkins 06-16-2013 04:53 PM

Mickelson is a goddamned choke artist. He always has been and he always will be.

Four shots to get down from 117 on 5. Four shots to get down from the rough on 3. Four shots to get down from the fairway on 15.

I'm sick of this bullshit. Time after time after time.

He has the guts of a ****ing turd burglar.

Pablo 06-16-2013 04:54 PM

Have fun with that one Phil.

kstater 06-16-2013 04:54 PM

Goodbye Phil Mickelson

TribalElder 06-16-2013 04:55 PM

lol happy birthday Phil, congrats on your 6th runner up finish

Buck 06-16-2013 04:55 PM

Hope Day pars and Rose bogeys and Day gets a shot tomorrow.

That's not a given with this finish.

TribalElder 06-16-2013 04:55 PM

Rose is the winner it would seem

kstater 06-16-2013 04:56 PM

oopsies

Buck 06-16-2013 04:56 PM

****

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 06-16-2013 04:57 PM

Well if Rose sticks it on the green, this is going to be a boring finish.

Buck 06-16-2013 04:57 PM

Jason Day is gonna be the new bridesmaid after a few more tournies like this.

He is always in it on Sunday, but has never won it.

Watching Phil meltdown should be exciting

Old Dog 06-16-2013 04:58 PM

Welcome back, Phil

O.city 06-16-2013 04:59 PM

Just how tough is this course? These guys actually lucked out in that it played wet. Had it been normal US open conditions and the USGA had it how they wanted, +10 might have won this thing.

Pablo 06-16-2013 04:59 PM

Damn good shot there.

KC_Connection 06-16-2013 04:59 PM

Phil has to be the most entertaining golfer ever.

LoneWolf 06-16-2013 04:59 PM

I'll bet Phil misses that putt.

He's only 25 years old, he's got more than enough time to win one. The fact that he saves his best golf for major championships says a lot about him.

Doubt they would have cut pins where they did. Almost every hole had multiple locations on a hog's back over the course of the tourney.

Very true.

He's only 25, mentally, he won't be at his best for another 4 or 5 years anyway.

He's got plenty of time.

With soft greens all week, there were pins they still couldn't get at. THe greens there are pretty diabolical really.

Had the USGA been able to set it how they wanted it to play, in terms of conditions, I bet 6 or 7 would have ended up winning it.

stonedstooge 06-16-2013 05:04 PM

Straight at the pin

TribalElder 06-16-2013 05:04 PM

Phil you ****ing disappointment

Buck 06-16-2013 05:04 PM

****ing Phil.

O.city 06-16-2013 05:05 PM

Phil has actually hit solid putts today, he's just overread the shit out of everything.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 06-16-2013 05:05 PM

How many birdies on 17 and 18 today?

'Hamas' Jenkins 06-16-2013 05:05 PM

That was a perfect shot by Rose.

Phil chokes away yet another one. Ten feet basically straight up the hill and misses another one.

There is not a more overrated putter in the history of golf than Phil Mickelson.

KC_Connection 06-16-2013 05:05 PM

Have to hand it to Rose. He held it together down the stretch and didn't fold at all. Three great shots on 17/18. Now just needs to get down in 2 to likely win it.

It looks like Phil is going to have to birdie one of the two toughest holes on the course to get to a playoff.

LoneWolf 06-16-2013 05:05 PM

What I meant, Old Dog, was one million dollars.
