I still think far too many people are taken in by the crap Android "development" community. Educate yourself, and support true AOSP if that's what you want. And not crap XDA members who pretend to be legitimate developers by releasing ROMS that anyone here could do with a few minutes of training.

Not everyone wants AOSP.

I'm a big fan of stock Android and full customization. :)

My SGS2 on T-Mobile is a bit different than Sprint as far as flashing Roms.

I'm currently running CM9. By far the best Rom I've ever run. Some AOSP Roms, such as cm9, require you to flash the Gapps seperately from the Rom.

Wifi File Transfer Pro is a handy little app. Its $1.40.

Wirelessly transfer files between computer and phone.

The free one will allow you to transfer up to 4mb per transfer.

I like airdroid for that, it is free and you can even copy off the apk files. Very slick app.

Well shit. Wish I'd seen that.

Oh well. I had been using Kies but it sucked hard.
Its good for Samsung updates but not much else.

Yeah, I have that on my samsung and switched to airdroid because it was just better. I've been watching the site Android Police for this listing of favorite apps (Figue I ought to pimp the site after I won a Asus Transformer Prime from them, lol)

Oh, Kushdeck. I miss his stuff.

How do you like it?

Doggcatcher is a really good podcast app, but it costs $5.

BigMeatballDave 06-11-2012 06:16 PM

T-Mobile/Samsung is finally releasing the ICS update for the Galaxy S2 tonight at 11, via Kies.

Buck 06-12-2012 10:57 AM

Supposedly ICE comes out for the Droid RAZR (and Maxx) today too.
