no worries. I've been following the games somewhat on Yahoo, EPSN etc, so alot of times I already know the outcome etc.

The women's 200 back from tonight was a fantastic race. Well worth your time.

Would be nice if they had the 1500 M freestyle for women so that she could win that one too.

Damn she smoked the field.

Reminds me of high school track in Atchison. I was breaking records up there. Then I went to state and went up against the brothers. Same result as the pic. Except there were other brothers in the frame.

It was humiliating.

If they added that she might have to drop the 200 Free. She can probably maintain her dominance in the 400-1500 through 2020. Swimmers usually peak in their early 20s and distance swimmers peak a little sooner than that. After that, they tend to shorten their distances as their endurance drops but their strength increases (which is why someone like Ervin can still win gold in the 50).

Reddit thread:

"Katie Ledecky wins the Women's 800m Freestyle. Breaks her own WR, and first teenager to defend an Olympic title"

Was up before the race was over. LMAO

She looks pretty far back in this pic:

She would be out of the pool & dried off before they finished.

What was the deal with Costas interviewing the ice skaters? That Michael Weir dude was just creepy. Tara Lupinsky has grown up.

It's really time for U.S. soccer to move on without her.

This. She is a piece of shit and I don't like her.

Yes. Four medals were awarded: one gold and three silver. A three-way tie for second had never happened before.
