The getting turned inside out stuff happens in prison, not jail. Even our esteemed fellow planeteer PB doesnt go by Jail Bitch, does he? No such thing.

After the conviction and the sentencing, you go to prison and that's where the trouble goes down. But even then you join a gang (based on race) and you will get left alone, cause now you got homies that got your back if anyone messes with you.
I’m sure the gangs will all be competing to see which one can land meth-factor.

He has deep substance abuse and mental health issues. His choices are the reason why his life is a wreck, but those things play into why he makes the choices he does. He might be a douche, he might be someone who is beyond help, but no matter what he is it isn't funny anymore.
