ChiefsPlanet - Chiefs Alex Smith did, does, and will always suck.

The problem is some people think there's only 1 guy that needs to improve. You can't expect this young offensive scheme to execute perfectly every possession. Although you can see that they are getting it done when they absolutely needed to. If they continue to build on it they should be executing a lot better in the future and that falls on everyone on the offense not just 1 guy.

The offense didn't get it done when it absolutely needed to though.

whats his completion percentage if three well thrown balls arent dropped by Bowe and Fasano yesterday? What about the fact that he hit Bowe for a pass that would have iced the game had Bowe not dropped in on a slant route. The receivers aren't getting open very often, when they do, either the O line is a sieve, or the receivers drop the pass. I'll concede that Smith has missed some open guys, but to say that he is the sole reason the offense is sputtering is complete BS.

I think in most games, it's necessary that the offense scores on the drive Smith missed McBeard (at least 3 to make it 7 to win).

Not putting all the blame on Alex on that series but it'd be nice if we could have turned that into points. Don't disagree with the PC either (I'd have done the exact same thing), just a bit concerned.
