As a KU fan, I am nervous about EVERY game. I freaking HATE that those UCLA **** sacks get all the goddamned calls to save them the game. I have been VERY dissapointed in the reffing this year.

Actually it would be 3 wins away.

I thought UCLA had already used up their Referee Lifelines against Stanford and Cal.

To anyone who always whines when a ref calls a critical foul that decides the game in the last seconds, under the idea that in the last shot you should just let the kids play, I invite them to review that game. The refs did not have the balls to make that call, and so by swallowing the whistle they handed UCLA the win.

If we really did ask the refs not to make those calls with the game on the line, then the strategy for the team in front would be to just brutally mug the shooter for the win.

A&M handed the game to UCLA...............................

They continued to drive into traffic and could not finnish. I really never saw a foul on all of the UCLA blocks in the paint down the stretch. The final possesion was the clincher. If at first you fail, try, try again. What I would have given for a squared-up jump shot to tie or win the game. It had been obvious for most of the second half that A&M could not compete inside. :cuss:

A tie at the free throw line is more secure than trying to win via jumper. Unfortunately, UCLA has multiple referee lifelines as HolmeZz pointed out.

and for the record, I don't care much for UCLA.

A foul is a foul....regardless if it's the first 5 seconds or last 5 seconds of the game.

I'm not a fan of either team...but A&M got jobbed tonight. 4-5 straight possessions - UCLA had free reign to defend however they wanted without worry of fouling.

That said - if A&M had an outside shooter - we'd be talking about the upset.
