Alt mock has now selected a center AND a tackle for the Chiefs with their first two picks.

ChiefsCountry 03-13-2011 06:25 PM

Is it Ricky Stanzi time?

The Cincinnati Bengals select Greg Romeus, DE, Pittsburgh

If Romeus is healthy, a DL that has two guys who are 6'6" and north of 270 and can rush the passer is going to be pretty tough to handle, assuming they can get something, anything, out of their 3 technique.

****.

Had this pick all ready for the Eagles pick in a couple picks. Awesome upside pick here.

And Ayers, Houston, Phil Taylor, and Carmi were all on board still.

They might not build a bust of DeezNutz outside of the stadium, but the people of Buffalo should really consider it.

James Carpenter, OT, Alabama.

I'm curious about this pick.

Bills have a young, talented O-Line that's getting better.

Demetrius Bell, a project when he was drafted, at LT was really starting grow into his role towards the end of last season, and Mansfiled Wrotto, a 4th year player at RT is pretty solid.

They hav Andy Levitre and Eric Wood, both up and coming at guard.

Why Carpenter?

Differing opinions about Wrotto, apparently. Additionally, Carpenter is a versatile lineman who could project to play at guard, too.

Bills lack depth across the line in general.

Differing opinions about the line.

They have Ed Wang and and Cordaro Howard backing up the tackle positions, both going into their second years, and Howard and Chad Rinehardt backing up at guards, with Colin Brown in the mix as well.

Where they lack depth is center.

BossChief 03-13-2011 08:24 PM

With Peyton Hillis, the Browns have their thunder now its time to get the lightening.

Derrick Locke, RB, Kentucky

Archie Bunkers Cardinals are on the clock and PMd

Archie Bunker 03-13-2011 08:34 PM

First off bravo on the Sunday push guys.

During the my draft research this guy has turned into one of my favorite sleepers. He is inexperienced but his size/speed jump off the page. I watched him against Boise St and came away impressed. Even when he gave up a catch he was all over his receiver and seemed to be a solid tackler as well.

The Arizona Cardinals select Curtis Marsh, CB, Utah State

Sfeihc 03-13-2011 08:38 PM

Dammit, Archie! Nice pick, Marsh was going to look nice the the Honolulu Blue and Silver. Oh well.

The Eagles' secondary is a huge area of need, and along with Quinten Carter in the last round, this pick should help solidify things a bit. This is a guy who is smaller than what you would like ideally, but he has great speed and had a nice college career. Plus, Virginia Tech has a great track record of producing quality cornerbacks.

The Philadelphia Eagles select Rashad Carmichael, CB, Virginia Tech
