Brian Schottenheimer had arguably the best O-Line in the NFL and an outstanding running game.

In 6 years, his offense has has finished 20th or lower 4 of those 6 years.

And Mark Sanchez has failed to progress from his rookie season.

Brian DaBoll managed to get Matt Moore to look like a credible QB last year.

Yeah, Schottenheimer is so much better.

Jeff Fisher and Brian Schottenheimer in St. Louis vs. Romeo/Daboll in KC.

Who on this message board has the guts to take Romeo/Daboll in a direct comparison next season?

Back up your Anti-Fisher rhetoric, Romeosexuals.

If we go with Orton over Cassel, I'll take our chances against most teams.

You're forgetting that Jeff Fisher is God

In a year of uninspiring OC candidates, this hire is even more uninspiring.

Mr_Tomahawk 02-04-2012 10:47 PM

I have no idea how credible this source is...maybe he will be brought in at a lesser role as the new OL coach...a man can hope. :p

http://www.ocregister.com/sports/nfl...ear-votes.html

Kansas City is in discussions with Brian Daboll, who directed Miami's offense, to become their new offensive coordinator. Daboll has not been hired, but the two sides remain in discussions. Daboll could be introduced as soon as Monday. Daboll would take over for Bill Muir, who announced his retirement Wednesday. ...

Schottenheimer? Did you watch the Jets offense this year? Anybody that stops running the ball to let Sanchez throw it all day is not somebody to go after. Not defending Daboll at all, but this is not where we should have gone.

NJ, I was trolling 50 50.

Yes, lets hope.... because there's a shit ton of offensive geniuses looking for jobs this year. Tell me who'd you hire and why?

Mike Sullivan.

Research him...lazy-ass.

Really?

Well that's.......boring.

Schottenheimer wouldn't have been my first choice, but you give the benefit of the doubt to an accomplished HC like Fisher.

Both Fisher as HC and Schottenheimer as OC have taken teams deep into the playoffs, and in Fisher's case the Super Bowl.

Romeo and Daboll have taken teams to failure.

It is very telling that not a single anti-Fisher vagina on this message board has the guts to take Romeo/Daboll over Fisher/Schottenheimer.

And even though he's from the tree, I wouldn't even be too upset about Ferentz. We'd just have to wait a few more days to interview him too.

SD's offensive line coach. Why do you think he'd be a good OC?
