Definite bust

OK Geno buffs, I obviously didn't watch the guy 3 years ago, so can anybody tell me what kind of offense Geno played in before the spread? Was it a pro style offense or a mix of pro style snaps with the spread?

Cassel needs more snaps.

If we draft Geno, I'm getting his jersey.
Have to go all in here. |

Throwing off his back foot multiple times. Just can’t do that in the NFL or you’ll get picked off. 20:35 4th down-Very obvious blitz in the A gap by the LB. He should know that he has to get the ball out quickly because he won’t have time. He had his WR at the top left in single coverage and should have made the quick pass to him. Furthermore, he has 17 seconds left on the clock to snap the ball. If he would have done a hard count he would have seen the other LB preparing to blitz and could have changed the play, but he didn’t read this play well at all. He has to work on this. 30:23-Needs to set his feet use the proper technique when he throws. He launched his whole body into that throw while on the run which made it a really ugly pass. 45:45-WR wide open on the far left side. Geno didn’t even see him because he locked onto his first read (Tavon Austin) who was in triple coverage. This is what I was talking about. He needs to go through his progressions. OL gave him plenty of time to do that as well. Said his big negatives were locking onto his first read and not reading defenses well at the LOS. Those plays I highlighted emphasize those points. It can be improved, but it is a cause for concern, whether people will admit it or not. |
