I'd feel a lot better if we re-signed Tamba and D-Bowe to multi-year contracts along with Carr/Flowers.

They won't give D.Bowe a long term contract. Maybe next year. I wonder if he will give the chiefs problems with his contract

Why exactly? I'm not trying to be a dick, just curious.

I like Powe at NT, as the early reports are that the kid has some potential. The reports on Bailey are limited, very limited, but positive.

Powe was a dominant NT in college, prior to being switched to DE in a bad experiment...

Bailey was inconsistent, and is perceived as having underperformed his talent level...

and NT is a simpler, if more brutal, job...hold your ground...

I wasn't aware that Powe payed both NT and DE in college... The first thing I thought when I saw Bailey, is that his physique reminded me of Vernon Gholston. It got me wondering if he wasn't as workout warrior as well. I hope he develops...

Gholston was a productive player in college that never made the transition to OLB. Bailey is the exact opposite..... frame that should translate to 3-4 DE but limited production at Miami.

i have high hopes for both...but rookie DL generally struggle...we have a proven vet in front of powe, and great big question in front of Bailey

I expected a lot more of Houston, as rookie LBs can more easily make an impact, but he's holding out so....

This is what can happen by signing key FA. As Pioli said, you don't have to try and talk them into joining the team

@AdamSchefterAdam Schefter

It's to the point now where the remaining free agents want to go to Philadelphia -- and are willing to take less to do it.

Mark Bulger retiring to me is a surprise.. Or maybe he wasn't motivated after making $3.8 mil to hold the clipboard last season! #Ravens

Last week the Raiders reached an agreement with OL Mario Henderson but the Raiders went a different direction because of his weight

Players want to play with Mike Vick. See, e.g., Tashard Choice last year.
