Uh, I just want the obvious holes in the roster addressed. That's all. Maybe Pioli has some genious crystal ball and knows a bunch of rookies/UDFA are going to plug right in and dominate, but it scares me going into the season with all these question marks at key positions.
Our last game, a playoff game, we got embarrased at arrowhead because of weaknesses at key positions that needed desperate improvements. Maybe we are fixed at some of these. We needed upgrades/improvements at
OL, DL, WR, RB2, LB, FB, TE, S, and of course QB
These were not a surprise to even the most casual of fans. Most of these holes had been there a few seasons. I was hoping if these were addressed especially along the OL, it would help improve one of our biggest question marks which is QB. Maybe he could excel with enough improvements around him. I am going into this year as his biggest cheerleader. We need him to improve. I hope he lights it up and proves his critics wrong. I really do.
I wonder though if enough was done in the little offseason we had. Unlike last year, with the brutal schedual against so many playoff teams, I think we will find out very quickly if enough was done.

Huh?? They used 2 draft choices on the DL and brought in a vet run stuffing NT. I hardly call that not upgrading the position. They added a 1st round WR and a great slot guy. Added Houston to fill the other OLB spot and Siler for depth inside. The other 3 starting postions are pretty solid with DJ, Hali and Belcher(love his play) IMO.
FB's, backup TE's, backup S's aren't worth getting your panties in a bunch over.
They spent a 2nd rounder on the center of the future, have Asamoah ready to step in and kick ass at G, but the tackle positions are a concern right now.
I'm excited about the direction of this team as they have a lot of guys just entering thier primes with a ton of even younger guys that are going to get alot of PT this year.
