Because every top 3 QB is Mark Sanchez.

Geno is pretty much the opposite of Sanchez FFS.

He said nothing about Pioli getting fired.

Yeah, that killed the franchise.

Chiefs traded for a "safer" option, and this player failed, at least, as miserably as Sanchez.

And both teams are in the same position to draft another one.

If the drafted QB fails, big ****ing deal. Try again.

RunKC 12-26-2012 03:12 PM

Our new GM won't not take a QB at 1 because the Jets ****ed up with Sanchez.

John Clayton is a moron.

ESPN acts as if Kiper and McShay's scouting is prophet.

Yeah, just don't sign him to an extension when he hasn't proven shit, ala the New York Jets.

It's not like we aren't used to being in this 43 year Super Bowl drought. What harm could it possibly cause at this point? 2 ****ing wins. 2!

Sanchez was a one year starter with NFL level talent all around him.

Geno is a three year starter with no offensive line, no running game and one of the worst defenses in college football.

And he still passes for 71.4% completion and 40 TDs to 6 Ints while forcing the ball nearly all season long because of the defense. That's ****ing ridiculous. His numbers against teams without top 20 defenses were ridiculous. The Baylor game. The Kansas game. Most college QB's can't pass like that against air and Geno was doing it in game.

Geno Smith is as far from a "reach" at the QB position as I've ever seen.

These "experts" are ****ing morons.

And with the way that rookie salaries are nowadays, even if Geno fails horribly, we we would be in a position to draft another one early next year easily.

Jets didn't really have that option due to Marks 28M guaranteed.

The Jets won four playoff games with Mark Sanchez.

The Chiefs had an exciting opening Monday Night Football win against San Diego.

Yeah, Jets really should have traded for Cassel.

How conveniently people forget this much salient fact, yes.

Geno has a bad month of October, but still doesn't look horrible, and he gets destroyed for it.

RG3 has a bad month of October and barely defeats the worst team in college football and gets applauded for it.

He has had a couple of instances where he's reacted badly in the face of adversity.

Jay Cutler or Phillip Rivers, he is not.
