In my case, it took me around 14-15 hours to beat the game, and about half of it was watching cutscenes.

Even so, it's definitely worth playing.

Has anyone heard of this Life for Playstation thing? I guess it is somewhat like the Wii news and weather channels but with insanely cool graphics of earth and real time weather situations from a satellite view.

Thats how I felt at first, but then I realized its the best game evar!

I got the hang of it now. I was trying to be all gung ho for a bit. You cannot do that, gotta just stick to the ninja skills, use camo and be very patient. So far not bad.

1 thing i have to know, what the **** is up with the crazy commercials in the game? I dont know what the hell the girl cracking 2 eggs in a frying pan was for. I was like ughh, wtf?

I'm halfway through Act 4 and I'm already committed to playing it again...immediately. I didn't think anything could get me off of COD4 for an extended period but here I am, thank you Kojima-san for substituting a new addiction for an old. I'll definitely go back to COD4 at some point but right now I'm all about Snake.

The horsepower of the PS3 is nuts. My wife keeps watching the cut scenes with me and making fun of how cheesy it is but she can't deny the coolitude that is MGS4 visuals.

**game note. For those who don't know, and there may be a few, during a cut scene Snake will drop his cigarette while talking to Naomi...press L1 while he reaches for it and thank me later. The icon won't pop up, it's a hidden little deal Kojima put in there. Trust me...it's there.

In act 2 and its cool. I got the eggs part now. haha, i did NOT expect that. I mean its nothing mindblowing, but i still didnt expect it.

Just downloaded the Rocketmen demo at 125mb. Installed it. Then it needed to download an update that is 128mb. WTF is up with that?

FYI - I updated to firmware 2.42 last night and played several hours of MGS4. No problems.
