Also, in case anyone DVR'd this game, go back to the 2 minute mark when UCLA got called for a foul on a loose ball and then it went to a TV timeout. There were 9 fouls on UCLA, and when they came back from the TO, ATM was throwing the ball in. Someone care to explain to me why they weren't shooting one and one?

Simple. The refs wanted UCLA to win.

They switched it to an offensive foul on UCLA.

I think I figured out UCLA's defensive plan.

Shipp was going to rip Sloan's arm right out of the socket and beat him senseless with the bloody limb until the horn sounded. His grip must have slipped.

After three days of tourney action, I don't see a team yet that worries me as a KU fan. Even UNC. This is our best chance since 04 to win a title, and as long as we don't fall on our faces, I see KU putting up a title banner for the first time since 88. Memphis is not that good, I'm sorry. We've beaten Texas, and UCLA is the worst #1 seed in quite sometime that I can remember. I picked KU vs. UCLA in the final for payback from last year, but I don't think they'll make it that far.

If we do win the Championship, naysayers will just say the quality of opponents were crap, yada yada. Oh well. I can live with that. :)

Dont' count the chickens yet but I believe your right. The hawks should take the tourney this year.

KU didn't look that great today, though. They allowed WAY too much dribble drive. A team with good guards is going to KILL us with that.

Oh I agree. I just feel great about this team. Of course, after watching the action I've asked myself if we are that good, or are the rest of the teams that mediocre? I'm confident we will take it this year, but I'm not over-confident. If we do, it'll be the first time in quite sometime that a team of mine has won something lol

A 19 pt win on an off night. I will take it. And our guards can just return the favor. We can beat people in so many different ways. I love the versatility.

We are guaranteed to get a 12 or 13 seed to move onto the elite 8 too. muahahaha. glory glory halleleuyah. i'll be rooting for siena. those big east teams are looking tough, but i would like to pay back villanova for beating us handily a few years ago
