What happened was basically that Posluszny was replaced with Barnett. Morrison was a replacement for Reggie Torbor, which is a big improvement, ask me. I'm not trying to come off as thinking Morrison is all that, but he's not as terrible as you make him sound either. He's not even starting right now, even though he did start every game for entire six years in the NFL. I think he only had signed a one-year deal with the Jags. And he left Oakland after his rookie deal was up.
The idea is that someone will step up into that ILB position. I hope it's the rookie Kelvin Sheppard.

Well it will be Morrison's first in a 3-4 scheme, so him or Barnett are going to have to thump and take on blockers. I guess Barnett will, Morrison is going to have to get faster quick.
Morrison's knock in Oakland is that he was a poor run stuffer which is why they didnt resign him. The Jags opened up the check book for the player you should STILL have in Poz. Bills didn't go to plan B. has been LBers until they already missed out on the Poz sweepstakes to a team that just cut their starting QB.
Do I think the Bills are better than the Jags? yes. Do I think Poz made the wrong choice and signed with the shittier team? yes. Would the Bills be better with Poz than any of these other bum LBers like Kirk Morrison? Yes.
But Kirk Morrison isn't an upgrade is all I'm saying. He wasn't good in Oakland
