You mean his #2 Offensive line, Olsen, and his running backs aren't getting enough credit for their success. In addition to playing a soft schedule all year and his team being the healthiest in the NFL going into the playoffs. Are you implying that Cam is a different level QB than he was a year ago? And that this will actually continue for the rest of his career?

you can talk stats all day.
The Giants beat the Pats twice appearing to be underdogs with weaker records.
the Pats were supposed to clown Denver.

all the points the Panthers have scored will be meaningless in a week and a half.

them and the Pats somehow got lucky with the easiest schedules ever this year per this article
http://www.nj.com/education/2016/01/...ssor_says.html

Quote:

Of the 256 regular season games, 87.5 percent (14 of every 16) were played between teams in the same cluster, Miller found.

Although unusual, the schedule likely wouldn't have created any significant competitive advantage if both clusters had an equal collection of strong and weak divisions, Miller said.

"One cluster had all the weak teams, basically, and the other cluster had all the strong teams," Miller said.

That scheduling oddity allowed the Panthers and Patriots to play eight common opponents outside of their own divisions: the Redskins, Eagles, Giants, Cowboys, Texans, Colts, Jaguars and Titans.

Those franchises ended the season with a combined .398 winning percentage.

Both Miller and Karwan acknowledged that teams can face an especially easy or difficult schedule any year. But the imbalance of the 2015 schedule led to an irregular concentration of bad teams almost entirely isolated to one half of the league's schedule, Miller contended.

Care to retract your statement?

You ever retract a statement, Bob? I just keep seeing you continue to dig deeper holes until you are in a position to once again get the hamster wheel turning to come up with yet another username

Holy ****ing shit.

Doug Baldwin isn't better than any of the healthy WRs on Carolina's roster?

Nope. Not the guy who had 14 TDs this year.

What does that matter.

Baldwin and Tate combined for 1600 yards themselves. No Panthers WR duo is close to that

Those TDs must have been created because of the defense and the running game.

mcaj22 01-27-2016 06:06 PM

Yea those invisible stats that Tedd Ginn gets for keeping defenses "honest"

If Alex Smith had a guy like Tedd Ginn he would be like Cam!!!!

You are disregarding Olsen's contribution as if he is strictly a blocking tight end. What a pathetic attempt at cherry picking stats, let's disregard the work of a 1000+ yard tight end. Right...

Just going back to your post...you lousily listed off the 2013 Seattle Roster with zero clue of who actually played or contributed that season to make a point. You have zero credibility.

Of course he's a different level QB. He's peaking as a player, and that's why Greg Olsen, who's been a barely above average TE his entire career has put up the best numbers of his career. But he's probably viewed as a Tony Gonzalez type player by a dumbass like you, bob. Oh, and carolina's ol is average.

That line is top 5 and their power run as that link shows just proves how good that line is at allowing their running backs to get yards. Kalil is one of the best centers in the league.

Chiefnj2 01-28-2016 08:35 AM

I was listening to the radio the other day and they were talking to a former NFL player and local Carolina reporter. They said that Newton put in a ton of work this last offseason. They said that last year Rivera started giving him some authority to adjust plays at the LOS based on what he saw and they said that Newton got it wrong 80% of the time. He put in a lot of time watching film, etc., and this year he reversed it - making most of the adjustments correctly.

He seems to be growing as a player whether some people want to admit it or not.

They're average and the 4.1 ypc Stewart puts up reflects that. You got nothing
