He's gotten into fights with his teammates and yelled at fans. He has a reputation for playing dirty in his own practices, and once drove a player on Nebraska to quit.

There is speculation that multiple people were involved. Despite Incognito's questionable background, he was also put on the Dolphins' leadership council. The coaching staff and organization seem completely oblivious that this was happening. After the incident was reported, Incognito sent several angry tweets to Adam Schefter and company. There is strong speculation that his Dad wrote some pretty dicey things on social media, including calling Martin out for doing drugs and attempting suicide several times.

There is some question (but completely speculative) that his sexuality was called into question. There is also speculation that Incognito tried to force Martin to help pay for a $15,000 team trip to Vegas that Martin didn't plan to attend.
