Can't believe how this game has gone. Shields wasn't sharp at all really, Colorado was hitting him fairly well. Herrera was wild as shit and this team has battled on defense all game and has gotten themselves out of multiple jams. And until the 7th inning, our bats were bullshit all night.

It looked like for a while we'd lose this game and it would have been a huge disappointment, I've never heard of any of these Colorado players other than Morneau. Then Colorado's pitching staff implodes and KC ends up scoring 6 runs in 2 innings.

Oh man...it's great to be a Royals fan right now. 1st time ever in my life I've been able to say that being I was born in '83.

I know a guy who used to work for the Royals. He said that Hudler is genuine and always happy to talk to anyone. I still can't stand him as an announcer though.

He was very good in the pen for the Rays before coming over. Just a guy that's best throwing his best stuff for an inning.
