Just pulled the trigger on this model. Really excited about it. That adjustable air technology was wild at the in-store demo. Felt like I could have fallen asleep right then and there, had there not been a weird rando salesperson there watching me.

Awesome! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. When you get it all set up and sleep on it for awhile, I'll be curious as to your feelings on the adjustable air technology. I don't use it anymore, but my wife loves it.

Out of curiosity what did you do for the base? Did they let you walk out without one, or did you end up with their version?

I told them I didn't need a base, and they didn't bring it up again. Thought there would be a lot of pushback on that.

Separate note - I'm going to essentially build a bunkie board out of plywood to sit on top of a mattress pad, which will then be on top of two twin box springs (the bed's a king). I think that'll work fine.
