I actually wonder if NIL will help understand maturity level. Kids who only care about the money may not make it through the pressure cooker. But those who get through it will probably be more financially mature (versus someone who is showered with money overnight). and will be way more media trained and potentially babysat by endorsements and sponsors. Feels like a lot more handlers in college to keep a kid on the right track

Shedeur is a bit of an exception because he’s all about shock value. But I can buy that a guy with no major character red flags feels safer now more than ever

Shedur’s issues have everything to do with other factors outside of NIL. But I get what you mean about others that get a lot of NIL money.

Crazy that house is only 5.5 million. Kitchen is ugly though. Kind of odd that it’s next door neighbor seems to be a grocery store type are.

How would a player be able to determine a mistake in installs anyway? It’s the teams’ plays they’ve drawn up, not the players’.

Are we just talking some sort of obvious typo sort of mistake or a play that just generally wouldn’t make any sense like a wonky route combo, some weird protections stuff?

I was curious about that myself. I was assuming that maybe the play call language didn't match the formation, or maybe there was something like the offensive line is getting a runblock call while the running back is getting a screen pass call.

Saying NIL is just a cop-out because you want to make a larger point. A point that most of us think is a misguided one. Paying college players had very little to do with why Shadeur Sanders is a spoiled player with huge red flags. You're getting called out on a dumb assumption and you don't like it so you're moving the goalposts now.

Yes and no. Shadeur real down fall seems to be the decision not to hire an agent. I think a agent would have had some heart to heart with him on how to handle the interview process. What to expect in the interview process. Without an agent seems like he was expecting a recruiting type of a process under NIL, rather than a job interview. The alleged disagreement with Dabol, not expecting those question and handling being called out seems to be an example of this.

Not actually dealing with a coach who was not his father also probably seriously hurt him. No one to go to to talk on how coachable he is and whether he loves football. Whcih maybe could have offset a bad interview. But without that, the teams only had the interview experience to draw on. But I think Deion seriously thought he was a top 5 lock and could dictate where he would be drafted. So a GM and Coach had little to draw on and probably came to the the kid is entitled, Dad is a real problem if it goes south and wasting a first on him is a bad idea.

He’s pissed at the Giants for asking him to do a standard pre-draft interview?

This just further validates the reporting that Fraudeur viewed these pre-draft interviews as if they were college recruiting visits… rather than actual job interviews.

That seems like exactly the kind of kid Deion Sanders would raise, no?

Okay so name the top 5 rappers right now and tell me what they rap about?

You are right I may be reading too much into the short clip I saw but im not just saying if he is trying to portray that image he should stop. He never lived that type of life and he's not from a rough area. It just makes him seem like a wannabe but like I said I dont know him and the clip was very short.

If you wanted to live in a house like that, and could easily afford it, would you want one surrounded by that area with a big half dead back yard and a lagoon for a view? The least they could have done was pump some of that shit water up on the yard to keep it looking nice. It's currently one step up from being ghetto fabulous. Whatever the term for suburb fabulous is, that's it.

You're basically looking for lottery winner type of buyer who can't afford to buy the privacy of an actual estate.

Bulldozers and being replaced with several smaller homes might just be its fate.

I'm 2 minutes in and he's already going for the Josh Rosen comparison, which is ****ing stupid.

That was a long time ago, and Rosen failing is exactly why teams don't feel good about those types of guy. Same with Manziel. Teams are just getting much smarter about this stuff.

Well Drake is the most commercially successful rapper out right now. He comes from an affluent neighborhood in Canada. He mostly raps about women, money, clothes, cars.

Kendrick Lamar is probably the hottest rapper right now after this last year and he does rap about killing but mostly from a third party perspective. He’s from Compton so I suppose he may have seen a lot of gang violence growing up. I’d consider him more of an empowerment/conscious rapper type but he definitely does dabble in the gangster rap topics.

J Cole is definitely a conscious rapper. He never talks about killing and selling drugs. I believe his mom is/was actually a crack addict.

Travis Scott is really commercially successful, Eminem dropped an album within the last year or two, Future is still pretty big. None of those guys really talk about gang shit.

It’s pretty easy to rap about shit like money, cars, clothes, jewelry, women, and partying. Shedeur knows a lot about those topics, I’m sure.

I just keep watching this video and failing to see when he doesn't make it about race.

It has nothing to do with race. He's flat out wrong if he's bringing race into it, period, and it's clearly the main point he's trying to make.

It's more about the overall issue the NFL has with the issue than just Shedeur Sanders.

Oh shut the **** up.

It's very simple. He's a 2nd round talent with entitlement and an attitude/ego to go with a pain in the ass for a dad that thinks his son is better than he is. That's why he fell. His talent isn't worth the headache and drama.

Anybody brining race into it is a ****ing reerun. Your little stupid video that you most certainly got from Reddit sucks.

Cam Ward… a.k.a. a black QB who was drafted first overall… destroys any attempt to interject race into the Fraudeur conversation.
