It's been brought up in the other thread....but I don't think Jones gets cut. They'll probably keep him around until this season is done. Charles will probably get 15-16 carries a game, Jones will get around 7-8 and McClain around 5-6. Plus McClain will get a majority of the goalline work.

I'll believe that when I see it. Jones will still likely be the starter, and get 50% of the carries.

Be interesting to see how and where DMC fits into the offense now. Occasional two-back sets, I'd suppose. In the slot every blue moon.

If not, it was kind of a pointless signing.

McClain can do everything Jones does, and do it better. Plus he can take the few snaps at FB we'll have.

The value in signing McClain is his ability to play both positions and play them well, freeing up a roster spot.

There's no good reason to keep Jones on this roster.
