I see no reason that McClain himself couldn't block 5-8 snaps a game, carry 5-8 times and game and play some ST's.

I don't know if it was posted, but Cadillac Williams agreed to terms with the Rams.

Let's hope the Chiefs can find a way to get McClain on the field. Seems a little crowded back there right now!

Jim Washburn has another athlete in his arsenal with Eagles: DL Anthony Hargrove agrees to terms. Can play DT and DE. Good depth

McClain's in.
Who else is still available that can help this team?

RT:
Gaither maybe...

DL:
Pat Williams?

LB:
Matt Roth? Kirk Morrison?

S:
Donte Whitner? Dashon Goldson?

I'm really leary about Gaither.

Think about this.

The Raiders backed away from a deal with Gaither.

The Raiders........

I don't mind us pursuing depth through tonight's cuts.
We're thin at Guard and could use another DT for the rotation.
Could also use vet backups at Safety and QB.

I love how we have really upgraded the offense now. I don't care what anyone says Breaston played good enough to beat one of the better CB's in the league in Flowers last year. I hope his wheels are ok, but I am sure our staff and Haley were ok with it then it will be fine.

Not sure how much of a contributor Balwin will be as a rookie, but he has all the skills to really excel as a pro. With us being a little short on proven WR's maybe he will get more of a chance?

Mcclain helps in many, many different ways too. We struggled a little in short yardage, I think he improves us there a lot, also FB, RB and also help a lot in pass blocking for Cassel.
Maybe with a good fullback, Two yard Thomas turns into Four Yard Thomas this year.
That will make such a huge difference, especially on 3rd and 3.

I am a little worried about our O-line simply because Cassel HAS to succeed this year. No excuses. This is his make or break. Our toughest game last year was the Ravens, and this year that is just another Sunday.
I was affraid Pioli wasn't going to do anything, but I think he is just being smart and patient. If we can get a couple more guys on D, and have some rookies turn into stars I think the division will be ours to lose.

I don't either.

I'm just poking fun at the guys that want to call our receivers the Killer Bs.

How about Dashon Goldson? Looks like he might be the odd man out in San Francisco.
They just signed Madieu Williams.

He gives you GREAT depth at Safety and can be a starter if either Berry or Lewis goes down.

Hopefully they will be stinging defenses all season long! :)
