I have to admit, even though I love Tim Tebow, that looked a hell of a lot more like football than anything we saw last year.

we weren't beating the Packers last year, either

I hate to say it but Manning was a great addition. He automatically makes any offensive line look great with his pre-snap reads and quick release. Defense has to worry about the pass so the run game opens up. He's the ultimate addition to a team that already had the defense to make a run. Not to mention Dumervil and Miller could potentially be a better duo than Mathis and Freeney.

****.

No you're a blind, reeruned homer. You can't give Manning credit for coming back from a year away from football (including surgery) and playing like a champ. There were several major **** ups made by Broncos tonight. Moreno and Moore off the top of my head. Manning, however, had a great game all things considered. He's one of the best and it shows.

What part of "he played good" is not credit given? You say great I say good. Meh. If he is throwing thirty yard darts then we are truly screwed. We will still wait on that one though. But it is smart on him to not force those if he doesn't feel it yet.

I was also impressed by Porter.

I credited Peyton for a good game. I also look at the Steelers who are without two starters on D and their starting running back and an injured o-line. So genius, what do you dispute?

Peyton didn't have to do anything special to win this game. He was under no pressure all night and just threw 5 yard passes all night.

And like I said earlier Palko almost beat a healthy Steelers team last season. Of course Manning will do it against a banged up team.

You're full of shit.

We aren't winning the west or goin to the playoffs. We still are a year or two away.

BigMeatballDave 09-09-2012 09:57 PM

Steelers were missing 2 key starters on D.

Watch the corn hole in Hotlanta.

Me too. He's better than I thought he was.

Well, at least we know that Romeo knows how to slow Manning down. I won't make any bets as to who will win our games, but I'd bet they'll be competitive.

KCrockaholic 09-09-2012 09:58 PM

Von Miller is pretty awesome. I don't like any other Bronco other than him.

Exactly.

Do people on the board realize we used to talk about this 2012 season as the year we would make a Super Bowl push?

Instead it's the same shit every year. "Were this many years away". We get to said year. Wash, rinse, repeat.

So the Steelers were healthy?

Manning did what he needed to do no doubt. However, when he is throwing thirty yard strikes then we can go doom and gloom.

okcchief 09-09-2012 10:00 PM

Why do we even watch football? ****! No wonder I play in so many fantasy leagues.
