While I agree, somewhat, We're still not built exactly like those teams were.

Won't be long now before Ventura is in a Yankees uniform pitching like an All-Star after some "time away from baseball" to clear his head. Worked like a charm for Greinke.

link to grienke pitching for the yankees?

The Dodgers are the Yankees, man. The new Yankees

I dont know why 2 position players of are of no importance. However I dont remember a team trading for a startjng pitcher, RFer and 2nd baseman all at the deadline. Seems a little demanding.

I think Cespedes immediately becomes our top target now.

Also, without Gordon our outfield and even team in general just doesn't look the way it is supposed to. Sucks not having that rock in the lineup.

What is the opinion of the loge level at Kauffman Stadium? Have an opportunity to get 3 tickets for $43 a piece in the loge level on the first base side for August 10.

Those are my favorite seats (and where I watched most of the 2014 playoffs from.

Sheltered from the elements, decent shade, and a great view of the field.

Well that's a bold move. I think this has as much to do with maturity as anything. I think they're trying to send him a message. It's been building for months. If you just listen to what announcers and people around the organization say, it seems he has some learning to do. It started with all the drama the first couple weeks and never got right.

Agreed. At times he just comes off like a punk.

Hopefully this gives him a little humility and knocks that chip off his shoulder.

Section 311 is my favorite section because I like a view straight down the foul line.
What section?

Depends on how far down the line they are, but I like them. The shade is nice for day games.
An underrated aspect is the concession stands. Very short lines. You can usually get something and be back between 1/2 innings, maybe miss a out. Upper level and usually lower, you can miss a whole inning.

Still excellent seats & for $43/seat that's a great price too.

Good move on Ventura to AAA. But it does surprise me from the Royals organization. Glad they aren't handling him with kid gloves and not afraid to send him a message that he's got work to do to stay at the MLB level. He's gotta work harder.
