What would most likely happen is a Patriots 9ers Super Bowl

Has any coach ever said "Eh...guess they got that one right"?

I'm constantly amazed at how infantile every last one of the guys on the sidelines are. It was a touchdown - the end. And that guys stamping around like someone shot his dog.

Is there something in their DNA that keeps NFL coaches from being rational, measured human beings?

That's the only reason I can bring myself to accept the possibility of a Pats Super Bowl.

4 years after ****stick left, the team he took control of is 2-14 and the team that he left is better than it has ever been with no contribution from him whatsoever.

There's something to be said for the Patriots dominance as proof of Pioli's fraudulent nature.

It'd be a nauseating blowout win for the Pats. I realize the Niners beat them pretty soundly in the regular season, but I wouldn't trust Kaepernick in the freaking Super Bowl yet.

Hootie 01-13-2013 06:22 PM

I'm ok with Pats/49ers

tk13 01-13-2013 06:23 PM

Brady's clearly going to be the most established QB left.

But that said, the Ravens always play the Patriots very well. Almost beat them last year in the playoffs, and they beat them during the regular season this year. Next week is no gimme.

If he writes a letter to the authorities and the family of the men slain outside a nightclub that details his involvement in their killing and/or names those responsible for same, I'll consider rooting for him.

As it stands, he's nothing more than a murderer or someone that protected friends that he knew were murderers.

**** Ray Lewis in the face. He can claim Godliness all he wants, but until he confesses to his actions that night, he hasn't atoned for shit.

I'm hoping the Texans do a torque job on Brady's anterior cruciate ligament here in the last 10 minutes for all these deep throws.

I really hope Baltimore doesn't win next week. Even though I wanted them to win yesterday, I can't stand that team or Ray Lewis.

Rain Man 01-13-2013 06:25 PM

I'm burned out on the Patriots and don't really like the Ravens. I'm voting for a Falcons-49ers Super Bowl, but I don't think that's going to happen without a surprise realignment.

I'll vote for Falcons-Patriots, I guess, just because I don't like Ray Lewis. However, I don't want to see Brady get momentum over our own Joe Montana for the greatest quarterback ever.

I decided after I had a meltdown after a Broncos loss (I've hated that team for my entire life) I'd have to just quit Manning once and for all.

I've always been curious on onsides kicks. Is it not possible to put the thing straight up in the air high enough that it becomes a 50/50 proposition? It seems like that would be advantageous compared to the regular system that gives the receiving team a better position to recover.

If you kick it high enough, it still has to go past the 10 yard, but the kickoff return team (if properly coached) can wave for a fair catch, and catch it.

You'd have a better chance of recovering it if it bounces around than to kick it straight up in the air, but I am no math wiz or a statistical analyist.

GoChargers 01-13-2013 06:41 PM
