Bound was great. Speed Racer wasn't for everybody but the technical aspect of that movie was spectacular. V for Vendetta? They're not just matrix

I haven't seen Bound but I did actually enjoy Speed Racer. Really liked V for Vendetta. But agree that nothing has lived up to Matrix.

I did like Matrix Reloaded but despised Revolutions.

Bound is an OK smallish movie, with the toe clenching-ist, ball-emptying-ist, lesbian scenes in mainstream film history.

Come on, Bound was great for one reason (well, two) only: Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly.

If they had cast Melissa McCarthy and Edie McClurg, no one would even know of that film.

I know I loved Blue is the Warmest Color because of Abdellatif Kechiche's direction.

Oh damn, I'm out of Kleenex.

Ok, I did enjoy V for Vendetta. But did they direct that? They probably did, but who knows?

Speed Racer is nice from a technical aspect, but it's incredidbly boring IMO.

This looks like eye porn and not much else. And I'm with keg - this is a story I would usually eat up, but it's just not resounding with me.

I guess I can look forward to seeing how Sean Bean dies THIS time. :D

Despite their looks, Tatum and Kunis aren't great actors. I liked Tatum in White House Down and a few others, but he's too wooden to carry a film of this nature.

Kunis, to me, is a sitcom actress without any weight or acting chops.

The visuals may be awesome but I doubt this film will resonate.

Reviews are out. Sounds like a dud. Too bad

How do you spend a gazillion dollars and delay after delay, and still lay a turd?

Change your last name to Wachowski and get a sex change.

I thought (both the film and the brothers) came out like a year ago?

Isn't this just a re-release to try and gain $$$ back by using 3D?....

Film was originally supposed to come out Mid July of 2014. They started advertising for it in 2013.

It got bumped to Feb 2015 about a month before release. That was obviously not a good sign.

I really liked V for Vendetta. They wrote the screen play and produced it, but didn't direct it.

As far as recent Sci-Fi movies go, I really liked the first new Star Trek movie, even as a guy who doesn't watch the show. Also enjoyed Gravity in 3D, even as a guy who doesn't care for 3D. Thought the scene with the explosion and no noise was pretty cool.
