Ask not what this country can do for you, but one giant leap for Chiefs kind.

Didn't mean to. Again just my opinion. I'm not the first person to accuse this team of being a little soft. More then one of these guys seems to be day to day more often then not.

Maybe. It's just a little frustrating that a stinger or normal wear and tear for players on another team turn into multiple missed games for chiefs players.

1. I’d rather have Watkins healthy for the playoffs.
2. Many of these players already play with alot of pain. I’m pretty sure Hunt isn’t feeling quite as good as he did in week 1. Everybody’s already hurt, just not bad enough to show up on the injury report

Mecca 11-19-2018 08:25 AM

Sammy Watkins has had some foot issues in the past, I don't think it's remotely being soft it's the team being smart not wanting to turn a 2 week injury into a 2 month injury.

have you heard anything aside from the Peter King tweet? Gosh I hope he can go.

staylor26 11-19-2018 08:28 AM

Lol CP is a joke

Anybody that ever gets injured on the Chiefs must be soft, right?

Sure yep I get it. It's the NFL everyone is a little hurt at this point. I just don't see the attitude of "I don't care, if I could walk I was gonna play in this game.". And maybe that is a thing of the past. I don't know. I know having watkins on the field is huge for the O. If he doesn't play the chiefs will miss him. If he can't go he can't go. But if he's 70%. You gotta get out there

Controlling the game with Hunt is all the more important with Watkins out. I don’t see our receivers behind Hill getting open against M2M coverage with any consistency.

The Rams secondary sucks dude LMAO

Guys have a lot of pain we don’t know about because they have zero incentive to tell anyone. I remember Kelce got shoulder surgery after 2016 and no one knew when he got hurt. Mahomes got surgery on both arms after his 2016 Tech season, but he played every game

I want Watkins healthy in the playoffs, period. This Rams game is only a non-conference game anyway, despite the hype

CupidStunt 11-19-2018 08:37 AM

I'd rather be "soft" and elite than tough and dogshit. There are no elite, "tough" teams. You think the Saints or Rams are tough? ROFL

ptlyon 11-19-2018 08:41 AM

If you guys think Watkins isn't going to play against his old team in the biggest game of the year to date, you guys need to lay off the cabbage

Tough to beat is all that matters.

It’s not great but their safeties are decent. Shields and Robey-Coleman can probably contain our backup WRs if nothing else, unlike Watkins.

All I’m saying is neither Conley or D-Rob have shown they can win vs. man coverage consistently and until they do, I’m gonna doubt them.

Mecca 11-19-2018 08:57 AM

I don't even expect him to be out honestly but I think they're being cautious.
