My dad got bit above his eyebrow by a recluse, but he didn't know until I told him later that day to see the doctor.
The doctor didn't agreewith me so he sent my dad home. The next day it was worse and I told him to go back and get antibiotics. The doctor shot him up and he recovered quickly.
If my dad would have listened to a small town doctor instead of his son, half his face would be gone right now. :eek:
I do a lot of work around recluses, and literally see dozens of them in our old barn, but I have never been bitten. I am pretty careful, though. |
