If we selected Wilson as insurance, and didn't need to cash in that policy, then he'd be a backup.
That's the first thing.
The second is that no one is going to trade a first for a back up.
The third is, as a second round pick, he is not going to be "high salaried".

You are not going to get Tyler Wison in the second round in any case.
Smith and Wilson will both likely be top 7, and there will likely be 4 QBs taken overall in the first round.
