I understand what you are saying and not buying tickets, merchandise and stop watching the games is the ultimate stand no doubt. However, I like most other Chief fans still love the team and the players and wouldn't quit on the players. So stepping up and letting the piss poor management of the team know that they shouldn't confuse support of the players as a quality approval rating of their work isn't a horrible idea. How you chose to express that lack of approval, to each his own. You will probably never catch me standing in a picket line between now and the end of my days but I certainly won't bash those who chose to do so.

The most pathetic thing I can imagine is people continuing to roll over and support a GM and front office that has a track record of failure virtually unmatched in the league.

Feh...Im taking you inferrence that I somehow support the failure of last season. Far from it. Ive said on numerous occasions that Im pretty much apathetic at this point. I actually welcome the changing of the guard, as it should provide me loads of material.

Let's get one thing straight...this is not about the Chiefs or the success or failure. Most of this discussion boils down to each of us proving to the other how much we 'know' football and that's it.

While many have their opinions and damn few don't take pleasure in their opinions turning out accurate but in the end it is about the success or failure of the Chiefs. I'm sure there were many Patriot fans that were certain that Bill Belichick was horrible head coaching choice back in 2000 and head to look no further than his 5-11 final season with Cleveland to believe it...The fact he followed it up by taking a Pete Carroll team that went 10-6, 9-7 and 8-8 only to post another 5-11 season probably confirmed with zero doubt that were correct and right but as those fans sit here today the only thing they care about is winning their 3rd Super Bowl ring in 4 years. Damn few fans care about whether they "knew" Belichick was a good or bad choice as a coach back in 2000 and only care about the success or failure of their team next weekend in the Super Bowl. Only reason you feel like people only care about how much they "know" about football is because failure is the only thing this franchise has had for a very long time. If Carl Peterson and his pathetic front office could actually mix in success during their decade and a half on the job you would be amazed how little people cared about being right or wrong.

Actually I took a couple of weeks and went to Palm Springs to play golf, it was very enjoyable. It is obvious that nothing changed, you still think you know more about football than Carl and Dick. I think you should relieve yourself, it might increase the blood flow to the right places. :p

I respect your opinion on that however: Prior to Carl Peterson the Chiefs were absolutly woeful. Carl has done a lot of good things and he has made his share of mistakes. One thing about mistakes, anyone that is doing something will make them. :banghead: It is probably time for a change and it looks like it is going to happen.
