I hate to get too far out there with wild suggestions, but how hard would it be to add a picture of him to the gif at the top of the page? That could be something permanent and non-controversial.

Are you talking about the logo on the left, or the "slideshow" gif at the right? Control-F5 if you're talking about the latter.

In a poll with so many options, you should have rounds of voting until one name has a majority. Otherwise you could get a name that 60% of the people don't like. After each round, you can drop the bottom vote getter plus any others not recieving at least 20% of the max vote getter, or some such criteria.

Yep. That's why I don't that I'd have time to head up such an operation this weekend. After tonight, there's a chance I may not have internet for a couple weeks.
