Nothing is worse than the Rose Bowl.

I was there for the 2002 Rose Bowl game (Miami/Nebraska) and it was like attending a football game in a slum in India.

2 hour+ wait to get in the stadium. Hour+ wait to use the bathroom the bathrooms were so small, people were pissing in the sinks and trashcans.

Did you make the trip to Boise this year? How the mighty have fallen.

The Orange bowl is pretty bad too. Dumpy stadium with no college atmosphere.

Kansas, Missouri agree to move game to Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – The Kansas-Missouri football game is coming to Kansas City.

Officials from both schools plan to announce later today that the game will be played at Arrowhead Stadium beginning this fall.

A source, who asked not to be identified pending a formal announcement, told The Associated Press this morning that each team will play a home game in the series at Arrowhead.

The move has been discussed for many years but resisted by merchants in Columbia and Lawrence.

Arrowhead, the 78,000-seat home of the Kansas City Chiefs, has hosted several Big 12 championships and many major college games. It is going to undergo a massive renovation starting this year.

Why piss all over the "Fire Carl Peterson" parade...

"Lamar Hunt Field" would be nice but not really a 'big announcement' most likely 'Papa Johns Field' & 'Price Choppers Arrowhead Stadium'

duncan_idaho 01-22-2007 10:41 AM

This announcement WILL be MU-KU in Arrowhead, per Mizzou's Rivals.com writer.

Great deal for both schools... locking the game into Thanksgiving weekend really hurts Mizzou's attendence - no way to get the stadium very close to full, and fewer people travel than normal because of the holiday.

chiefforlife 01-22-2007 11:12 AM

wow...thats great Carl...BFD! I was stupid enough to think it was a big announcement that would improve the Chiefs. Ill never learn.

Chief Henry 01-22-2007 11:17 AM

Carl is firing Herman Edwards. That could be the
only news i would find being a MAJOR announcement.
