All I can honestly remember about Transformers were the toys were a bitch to get put back together correctly - as a child of course. They were big in the mid 80's - when I was just starting kindergarten.

Actually, all Bay flicks have a fair amonut of humour in them (Bad Boys 1 and 2, The Rock, Armegeddon, The Island, (Heck even Pearl Harbor) Unintentional of course. Hes actually a pretty good comedy director.

I wasn't really into transformers when I was younger....but can I say that i LOVED this movie!! and I made my husband take me to Target afterwards to get one!!! I know it wasn't the original Bumble bee, but the new one was bad arse!!!

I heard grumbling that Bumblebee wasn't a beetle, but how gay would he have been? The camaro was perfect. Back in the day, beetles were more of a hippie ride. Now the newer ones seem to be driven by women, or men of alternate lifestyles.

Took my son yesterday evening. We loved it. Best movie of the year so far.

The only thing that we didn't like was the 25 minutes of previews before the movie started. That was excessive.

That right there was me as well... I was sitting there thinking, "Man, I'm watching transformers on the big screen--this is so freakin' cool!"

Needless to say, I loved the TF growing up--I still do--and the movie captured the essence of the TF to the core: A little bit of cheese, a little bit of geekiness, a little bit of humor, and a whole lot of huge robots whippin' up on each other...

Great movie. Megan Fox issssssss HOT

The Camero is also awesome looking IMO

Foxman.. its CamAro.. and I still have my old transformers from back in the 84 and 85. I never really played with them so they all still have all of their weapon. I know they are worth quite a bit and with this movie coming out I thought about trying to sell them all. but I dont really need the money.
