Personally, I think to feel sexually empowered, a woman needs to take care of herself and feel good about what she looks like. I think many women don't have sex with their husbands because they constantly feel bad about what they look like. But to me, regardless of weight or other factors, if a woman decides to put on something pretty, wear pretty make up and do her hair, she instantly feels better about who she is and is more apt to feel sexually amorous

Yes, that makes sense. Personally, I feel the same about myself in a tux as I do in greasy coveralls, but I see where you're coming from. I guess for me, when I get to the point that I'm in love(not just lust) with a woman, it doesn't matter if she dresses up X number of times a week. I'm still going to be attracted to her. Like you said of your friend "I love her and think she's pretty regardless...but you know, I know her soul." I guess I'm just looking for that... |
