That's totally true.

It's also Red Raider country. West Texas has a burgeoning Kansas City Chiefs fanbase.

I used to live there. Nice mall they had. Hated the school there.

Great food and atmosphere at the Big Texan. We were there last year, but did not try the 72oz

I have a good friend that lives in Amarillo and there are actually a lot of Chiefs fans right now. Patrick played at Texas Tech and they love Patrick.

Is this "old thread bumping" season?

I missed the memo.

Yeah, tons of Chiefs fans in Amarillo ,My daughter goes to College in Canyon which is basically part of Amarillo and all my wifes doctors are in Amarillo, so I'm there at least twice a week. A couple of my favorite places to eat are Jay's Bar and grill and "Bubbas 33".
Also there's tons of good Mexican food there. Amarillo is well known for "The Big Texan" as mentioned before. Home of the 72 oz steak.

PMII did wonders for the Chiefs fan population in the whole panhandle of Texas

Helped paint a mural/paintings there back in '97 at a Mexican restaurant called Abuelo"s.

Still there all these years later.

For what it's worth we moved to Keller a couple years back. One of the best decisions we ever made.

Tascosa? Amarillo High? River Road? Palo Duro? Caprock?

My sister lived in Borger for a decade.

She's better now, back in KC. Good place to raise kids I guess, that's about it.
