Like I said before, every team in America has been on both ends on blowouts. I can't think of one reason why a head coach would have mercy for another team. If a team can't stop the other team's reserves, than that's their problem. A coach can't tell those kids to go out there and take a knee. I'm sure Osborne called even simpler running plays with the reserves.

Give KU credit for playing OU well a couple times. They beat Switzer twice. I really doubt that Oklahoma's reserves were any worse than Nebraska's reserves. Switzer beat Nebraska more often than not.
