We kept running the ball for 1 yard up the middle, throwing sidways, Huard is still throwing the ball 10 miles high and can't throw a fade for shit, our WR' cannot get separtaion at all and our safety's and LB's still over-pursue.
And our starting QB is hurt..AGAIN.
This is how many years in a row? We looked soft and we have looked soft since Marty left.

Yes.
Rebuilding. I'm not sure how to help you understand that means we are going to A) Have some players that don't play that well because they are still learning, and B) Have some players who don't play that well because we are waiting for them to flush out of the system.
I don't count kickers in a rebuild. We can always sign old kickers, as they have little to no effect on team chem. We just keep getting poor ones. I agree our WRs (on the field today) don't get "separtation." But I don't think we are looking for burners,a s much as big targets, anyway. Herm said before the seasons he wasn't going to give up on a certain type of run just because it fails a time or two. You may not like it, and I may not like it, but that's what we are going to get. It's a part of his rebuild... and unfortunately, he's got the keys to the car... all we can do is sit and watch. Just one more reason I won't get outraged that they didn't attempt a move of desperation in the 3rd quarter of the first game of the year.
