I've watched Oher a little bit now, he's a stud. Andre Smith for Alabama is a stud. Neither of them have anywhere close to the impact that Matt Stafford has for his team.
A great O-line ain't winning us a Super Bowl, but a great QB will. |

Here's the deal between Stafford and Bradford. Stafford is what you want physically in a QB, big arm nice body. Bradford is what you want mentally for a QB. I havent been real high on Stafford but he showed me a little more tonight. He forces alot of stuff but he has the arm to do it. Bradford is tough as nails though, he took a couple of big licks tonight and still got the ball off. As of right now I still like Bradford better but Stafford is moving up in my book.

OU does run alot of spread, but they are still more af a pro style offense. I share your concerns about his frame, but no one can question his leadership, decision making, accuracy and subsequent stats. |

I think Stafford would be viewed better of he didn't have guys drop 10 balls a game...he puts the ball in perfect windows and his guys drop balls. I think that makes him actually better prepared for the NFL, he's already use to throwing it into windows, that's how you play NFL QB, rarely does anyone run free.

And QB's that fail, fail because they weren't going to make it not because of their situation. Those guys you mention all had giant questions to begin with.....Carr had a slow release and held the ball to long it was what got him sacked so much. Akili Smith was a 1 year wonder.....Couch came out of a very gimmicky college offense where he threw it 60 times a game. |
