If he does it against REAL competition, I'll gladly eat crow. Up until tonight, Morningstar has been nothing but mediocre. He has one good night and you're down on your knees already. It was ONE GAME. If he does it on a consistent basis, there'll be no one happier than I. Until then, you can take your karma and shove it up your ass.

Brady Morningstar was hot! it would be nice if he were consistent

I love how people rag on guys like Morningstar when they should be rooting for his success. He's a Jayhawk just like the other players and he more than earned his minutes tonight. He plays with an intensity that many of our younger, more athletic players could do well to take note of.

I'm rooting for his success, but not at the expense of the team. If he is the best for the team, then so be it. But up until tonight, he had 5, 4, 3, and 6 points in his first four games. Tonight he had 21. Which one is the real Morningstar?

Fair enough. I sincerely hope his play continues at this level against real competition.

I don't know how anybody who actually watches this team on a consistent basis could actually think that guy is good. He was totally out of his element agaisnt a better team in Syracuse, he sucks. Play him against an average team, and he won't do anything.

hey .... even if we just find out that Morningstar can get our starters a big break during games against lesser teams it will help our season.

Self can give a starter a whole game to get over an injury against Podunk University because Morningstar can handle it or something.

who knows he might even develop into a solid rotation guy.

Talent is what wins games, and there's more of it on the bench.

Talent doesn't mean shit if you don't have the brains to implement the coach's system.
