It's a reportable offense. Self knows what's permissable and what is over the line. He admitted to going over the line. With that said, nothing will come of this. If the NCAA really got angry at KU basketball, they would take out that vengance on KU football. It's happened at other sacred cow schools.

At the finals on Saturday, one of the players came over to the coaches table and gave his tee to one of the coaches. I saw it but didn't know which coach, was told it was either Self or the coach from Memphis. That exchange sure got the crowd going. I don't see a big deal for this or chatting with the guys.

BTW I went Thursday and Saturday. Thursday Wall was good but not super impressive, Saturday night was completely different. Wall and CJ something from Word of God were both very impressive. Wall especially, moves like Jordan!
|
the key to this is that WALL APPROACHED SELF
"i'm not supposed to be talk to you ...." was an excuse for why Self couldn't stop to talk to him not an admission of guilt. was this "bump" intention ..... probably, but still |

Therefore, when I asked "What rules are you talking about"?, it was an actual question that, had you been specific and not gone "reerun" on me, I could maybe get answered. |
all then ran his fingers through selfs hair and whispered. I won't tell anyone your secret

1. Is it OK for a coach to hang outside a recruits locker room after a game so they may just "happen" to run in to them, during the no contact period? 1a. Do all coaches in the NCAA do this? |

Heh, heh. Guess so. |
Doug Gotleib said he thinks it is a non-issue, all coaches do this, and nothing will come of it.
More of a case of a reporter thinking he's breaking the next Watergate scandal, methinks. -HH |
